Susan

Susan Campbell Fournier received her B.A. at The University of Michigan and holds numerous post-graduate

credits and professional certifications in a unique mix of education, business/financial, and development. Her

professional background includes leadership positions with several regional non-profits, including Horizons

Hampton Roads, where she served as Executive Director during its major growth period, managing a multi-site

staff of more than 70 and a budget of over $500,000.

She has served in key roles in banking, job development and training, special events, business development,

personnel, and legal arenas. She is a retired Real Estate Professional.

Fournier commits her time and energies to numerous community organizations and efforts. Her most

significant community connections include non-profit board & committee membership and ensemble singing.

She sings first soprano in two 4-voice ensembles.

She manages the web site and electronic communication for the Williamsburg Choral Guild and is Soprano

Section Leader. She also lends her hand in the various events and activities of this group.

She has also been found occasionally at The Williamsburg Players, where she has produced 13 shows, served

on the Board, played many production roles since 1999.

She chaired the Lord Chamberlain Society of the Virginia Shakespeare Festival in its 28th and 29th seasons

and remained active with the VSF as charter C.F.O./Secretary of the newly formed Guild of the Virginia

Shakespeare Festival, Inc. until her retirement from the Board in 2013 after 14 years.

Fournier has two grown sons living in Northwest Indiana and Washington D.C. Her husband, David

Cunningham, and she share three other grown children, seventeen grandchildren, and three great

grandchildren.
